How does 3 months of freedom equate to 10 months of enslavement?

School is out for three months.
Thank the maker.
This was my last year of having any courses to do with math, science, or foreign language. After crash-landing in Advanced Algebra, Biology and Spanish 1, I decided I would take some classes I would be good at.
I decided math wasn't my thing in third grade. I was put into a fourth grade math class. I don't know who's idea this was. Probably the idea of the same person who decided to put me in speech that same year, which was equally unenjoyable. That is inconsequential, however. The point is I had to drop out of fourth grade math because it was just too incredibly difficult for me. I was prone to the more than frequent emotional breakdown-well, as close to an emotional breakdown as you can get in third grade, so I called it quits with advanced math. God knows, I go to 7th grade orientation and my math teacher has decided to put me in advanced math for the next year. I suspect she was somewhat drunk, but my parents encouraged me to try it, and I got through. The mistake here was getting through. This meant that I was to keep taking advanced math courses. Through the good graces of a great teacher I flew threw Algebra I the next year, and through the good graces of another great teacher I performed similarly in Geometry. Advanced Algebra was the straw that broke the metaphorical camel's back, reminding me that mathmatics was just not for me.
Spanish appeared to be a bad choice very early on. I didn't decide it was absolutly ridiculous till I learned that you have to say your colors in a plural format. For example, if you were to translate something literally, you might say "My shoes are browns." That was a turning moment for me-one that turned me out of the door of Spanish forever.
It's not that I'm particularly bad at science, I just don't enjoy it.
So now I've lined up a bunch of classes that I'll be good at-things that let me write, create, be expressive.
No more math-wow. I still get chills when I say it.
