As most of you know, I don't have the privillige of internet access at home, I can only ever get it at school
But - it's currently 21:10 and that means I'm not at school, so I hear you ask, how am I online without bieng at school ...
... Answer: I'm on a blackberry! It is possibly the most uncomfortable thing my thumbs have ever used, but it makes me feel very exited and I needed to share with someone...
Does anyone else here use a blackberry or some sort of equivalent?
Is there a part of hoothoo desighined for them?
Or have you ever used a blackberry for the internet?
Let me know!

I don't even know what a blackberry is... but then I think DOS was the best operating system Micro$oft ever produced, which shows how much of a Luddite I am.

Exactly. You knew where you stood with DOS. You knew that if you types "cd\games" you'd get to your games directory (that's what we called folders in the olden days, kids!), it was next to impossible to accidentally delete something, and even if you managed there was always the 'undelete' command. There was no worrying about whether your favourite program would be compatible with the newest version, no worrying about spyware or other malicious software, no glaring security flaws, no Service Packs. It was bliss.

Yeah, but it's not proper DOS. Not like when I used to have an 8086.

I'm not old enough to know much about DOS, so you'll have to excuse my lack of knowledge.
My knowledge is only from Windows 95 {how low-tech does THAT sound}

Ahh yes, Windows 95... the last bastion of true DOS. When you could still opt to not start Windows and go straight to the command prompt.
