Firstly, I'm still not right. I know this because I'm only able to sit up and type this, after drowsing or not doing much at all most of the day. Having enough energy to feel bored at the slowed pace is a clearer sign of improvement than being mostly able to breathe freely again.
So, another few days of doing as little as possible (carers don't get time off just because they're sick), next to no stress, no booze, no overeating, no hard exercise (also no pool time), no overexertion... Did I mention that this lack of excess is really hard work?
And now, those random three cards:
Page of Rods; Seven of Cauldrons (inverted); King of Rods (inverted).
An interesting trio, with only the first referring directly to something, and the last card echoing the first. Rods (or wands, if you prefer) tend to imply to me that somebody somewhere is busy.
The Page is a sandy haired youth, clad in shades of russet, gold and red, he(?) bears a white ash branch in his right hand and a small roll of paper or parchment in his left. The tail end of his hat hangs down on one side, meaning that he only has partial vision and understanding of what's going on. There's a fern on the card too, which supposedly represents trustworthiness.
On the next card, and attractive, youngish man sits on dry land, watching as female figures (naiads?) emerge from under the water, offering him cups of something. He doesn't seem to have accepted any of what they're offering yet, and all that they're offering seems equally tempting. I tend to interpret this card as being spoilt for choice and needing to prioritize, so that at least one thing can be enjoyed to the full.
Lastly, there's the King of Rods. Wearing the same colours as the page, and bearing a branch of goat willow. This time with yellow iris (indicating a passionate nature) behind him. He's old enough to be going grey. He looks alert and generally able to handle the demands of his life, instead of being weighed down by them. I like him, for all that he's very obviously married.
No, that isn't my full reading of those three, which would probably be something like a message (1st card) concerning extreme busyness and that man.
