Herenna - southpaw for now Started conversation Nov 8, 2012
Hmm... do I tell you about doing the washing, underwear shopping (out of necessity, not for fun ), and days when not much got done, or do I have a look at a random card and give you my take on it? *tosses a coin*. It's another card.
The Knight of Swords. I don't like him and his "don't mess with me" expression. To clarify, I don't like some of what he represents: Frustration, impatience, feeling trapped, blockages, the use of brute force, "get me out of here".
On the other hand, at least he's getting somewhere, even if he appears to be doing a bit of damage of his way through. Cutting through red tape (or to the chase, or through excuses and obfuscation) needn't be a bad thing. So far (on this deck's card) he's only made oak leaves fly, there's no sign of blood. Only enough force to do what's needed, no more. He's finished one sword stroke, there's no clear indication that he'll strike again. He's unhurt, his armour's clean and undamaged, and his shield is down. Therefor he's not in the middle of a fight.

can't do it your type of justice, and it has been years since I pulled a card, was tempted yeaterday but didn't, didn't want to know
today 10 of wands
desert scene, a sailing boat in the backround, which looks totally out of place. Its oars and sails are broken and what looks an impairable damaging hole to the side, yet the front half of the boat looks strong and alive.
The front part of the boat is shaped like a bird's neck and head
and what could be hole in the front body part of the boat is in fact an eye, I am sure of it
There is a woman, flamed haired with a crown, in a red dress with a more shapely figure than I, in a tipee shaped fire burning from the top not the bottom. She is sitting on something but you can't say what because of her lovely red gown
she looks trapped but not imprisoned, dispirted and quite a bit flushed, weary and not knowing quite what to next
She is placed with her back to the boat.
In front of the fire is a dead sheep/ram,lying on the ground or possibly just a really flaked out one
Will she let those sticks just burn around her or move them, not sure, one way or another they are going and she will still be left
with ashes or half sticks
with a sheep that might be alive or dead and a boat
maybe that particular ship has sailed , but the boat is still repairable
I am not sure about the sheep, I think I am going to give it prod
and knock that fire down in to something that is a reasonable burn and may or may not be good for stewing a sheep, although I would not want to stew a sheep, except this might be a survival situation, when all bets might be off
I am sure behind the boat some where there is an ocean
Key: Complain about this post
