well thats it i'm as good as dead and buried... i've been refused life insurance twice now due to my being type 2 diabetic... they didn't even approach my doctor for his report on my health which i had approved in advance.. they just saw diabetic and refused me...
as i am such a bad risk and in such obvious state of bad health.. so who exactly is that woman who looks an awful lot like me who keeps a tidy house, and caters for familys every need.. who WALKS the child to school and back twice a day, and then after providing early evening meal rushes off to busy strenuous job 4 nights a week???
it surely couldn't be me because i am officially knackered and ready for the grave. this is extreme prejudice, not even seeking a doctors report, who incidentally is quite happy with my health.
i'm going to contact the diabetic society and see if they can point me in the right direction.. i accept i will have to pay more but then so do smokers and they don't get this point blank refusal...
