Recently went to Northern Sulawesi, Indonesia, near the city of Manado for a couple of weeks diving. The diving was mostly in and around the Bunaken National Park. Very varied diving, some steep walls with lots of current, therefore drift dives along the reef. Pretty fast in places. But also some quieter diving in more sheltered areas, looking for smaller, and more sedentary, creatures. Lots of small fish, some seahorses, nudibranchs, cuttlefish, sea snakes and many others. Also dived in the Lembeh Strait area, no coral here but famous for the strange creatures inhabiting the black sand bottom. I saw a variety of frogfish,(inc. the Hairy frogfish!) many nudibranchs, seahorses etc.
On the drift dives I saw the occasional shark (White Tip Reef), turtles, Napoleon wrasse (one particularly big one), and huge numbers of reef fish of many kinds.
I've done much of my diving in the Red Sea, but the area around Manado made an excellent change for me, with different types of habitat and therefore different sea creatures.
I'll add some more stuff about particular dives later.
