There is a road sign here in america that says something to the effect of:
SLOW
TRUCKS
CROSSING
My question is this...Does that mean "Slow! Trucks crossing." or "Slow trucks are crossing." hmm...delima for sure!

What I find far more disturbing is
"HEAVY PLANT CROSSING"
or
SLOW
CHILDREN
or even
STOP
CHILDREN

hehe...ya, I like the 'Slow Children' one. Especially when there are one of those signs out front of the local school for the mentally challenged. Oh, I am surely going to hell for this one! hehe

Gary Larson's quite big over here in the greetings card line.
There's one where this kid's pushing a door that says "PULL" and the sign on the building is "Midvale School for the Gifted".
Another road sign which caused me some alarm was "Roadworks start here 3rd May - Delays possible until July". Better take some chocolate and an empty container!
