It is perhaphs worth noting that this entry was added to BBC h2g2 exactly eighty-six years after 'The Lost World' (1925) became the first film to be screened aboard a flight that departed from Croydon Aerodrome (Tuesday 7 April 1925). Hence, the film was also important to the development of In-Flight Entertainment.

I read that on Wikipedia, but I couldn't find any independant source also mentioning that. It's an impressive fact, though.
