Yup, that's what I said after I got out of the theatre. I, like pretty much everyone that I have talked to, was very apprehensive about this movie. I oh so wanted it to be absolutely perfect to give the Hitchhiker's Guide the credit that it deserves. All that I can really say about the film is this... By far the BEST translation from radio to book to tv to book to silver screen I have ever seen. Now, taking into account that this is the only radio to book to tv to book to silver screen film that I have ever seen I suppose that isn't really saying much. Regardless...everyone MUST see this film. I was a tad disapointed with how they represented the effects of the Infinate Improbability Drive. Well, not really with HOW they represented it...more just that I was hoping to be able to see Arthur's legs and arm drifting off into the sunset. The sofas are a nice touch though (you'll see...hehe).
Happy Hitchhiking!!!
