And there is no need to leave a thread that you seem to have a passion about. My posting there was NOT meant as any sort of an affront, nor my post to a long-time-old e-mail that you proffered ages ago. I was attempting to provide input from one of the other nationalities that were over-looked for quite a time. And proportionately have had the highest number of losses in Afghanistan.

I have never been a war-monger, having seen too many results in my lifetime, lost friends, spouses of friends. But I have a world of respect for those still in our uniform and doing what our country demands of them. The demands made by the government that our people elect. I don't agree with a lot of the choices, but the demand of duty is always there. And it strikes home so deeply every day that we stop what we are doing, and listen to the Hercules land ... bringing more flag-draped boxes home.

I apologize if you feel that my continuing interest in the debates and conversations of h2g2 is considered a form of stalking. While much of the site is fading, there is still much of good interest here. If you choose to strike this with a , I understand and bear no ill feelings for it.
