My friend who recently returned from Hong Kong came round for coffee. She brought her dog also returned from Hong Kong. Some sort of Tibetan spaniel. Talk about cute.
He's called Freddie, but she's thinking to re-name him Frodo.

I'm so pleased she's back in my life...a good steadying influence..and we'll take Frodo out for walks.

I know the photos are a bit strange and rubbish really. It was a bit rushed... He looks a bit sinister

Yes he is a bit special. And not a dog to run around yapping. Very centred and ..well he is from Tibet
Except he had a little barking session at one point when the upstairs neighbours came in..which was quite touchingly protective somehow.
He has a real presence about him. My friend is really good at getting that about things she chooses to have in her life. And she makes me feel good about myself.

Reynard reminded me of this story: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/olympics/shooting/9221054/London-2012-Olympics-shooting-test-event-disrupted-by-foxes-at-Royal-Artillery-Barracks.html

Thanks people..and yes a whole army of Reynards appear to be on the march in London..Goter love'em though. So alert and clever. They bit through the guy lines on my tent in no time.

You garden look like mine at the moment, although you don't appear to have as many dandelions
Lovely photo, Effers

Hey Mags it's nice you dropped by on this thread.
My garden is thoroughly relieved to have this deluge. I'm finding it a bit much personally...but hopefully the ancient Elder tree up the back will now survive. It was struggling last summer..and the linden tree which a bird seeded when I moved here died
