It's simply amazing how much better physically I am suddenly today. *Don't* want to analyse reasons...just enjoying the reality.

Actually ran a bit earlier..forgot I couldn't. Big shock as I felt the weakness...am still weak..but mobility amazingly better...as are lungs and voice. I can speak normally again with my strong voice...not this annoying thing all from the throat.

Made pizza bases earlier for pizza tonight...kneading good fun.

This is a big breakthrough...don't know about more

Bases made with 00flour. Topping, passata, slices of tomato, extra strong cheddar, dried oregano and a few black olives.

Went to King's intensive care earlier to thank staff for saving my life and to give a thank you card...had such a laugh with the nurses..as I had no memory of the reality of the ward..but I did their faces..and I said stuff to one nurse I really liked..oh you saved my life when we were in Israel. Also in my mind the ward was decorated like an art installation..indeed they had a show whilst I was there. They couldn't believe the change in me..but they were just so pleased to see me..and th card meant a lot.

I love those guys.

the pizza sounds great (we just had pizza - I wonder if it was because I read your post earlier?) I had a hankering for something fatty so i had salami with mushrooms.

I'm sure the nurses really appreciated that you went by to thank them, not everyone would think of doing that.
