If your parents are right and you do need more help than you're getting at the moment there must be alternatives to inpatient care that you might be able to access. Lots of NHS CMHTs have 'home treatment' teams. If you get treatment early you might be able to avoid things getting worse.

Things are getting good.

My parents are doing their usual thing of projecting *their values* on me.

I just got a letter from them, I recognise my father's florid handwriting on the enveloppe...I'm too scared to even open it.

Off to the shop to see the Kurds.

Was in and out quite quick...some kids were in there acting like idiots. They have to have someone on guard the whole time now since the riots.

Just brought myself to open the letter from my father...it's actually very nice and not at all pressurising...just wanting contact.

But he enclosed a clip form the local paper in Bristol suggesting magic mushrooms might help depression.

My family never cease to amaze me.

(I took them when younger and was warned by doctors they are the biggest danger to me..).
