okay I succumbed and went to the lesbian thread. I shouldn't have had that large vodka and coke.

Actually it was the best thing.

I'm facing facts.

This place is totally doomed...as something alive, vibrant and exciting.

You simply can't beat REAL LIFE. Nasty brutal and short...

(Am watching a film about Ken Russel now though before going to the tent. More vodka...and few lesbian fantasies...)

I'll probably sleep naked in the tent tonight....to feel ALIVE.

I'm making a Moroccan Chicken Tangine with stewed `prunes and toasted almonds.

The other day I was at the big old Italian shop in town and was surprised to see a lovely little tangine for sale, the last one in the store. I bought it, of course. Then, today at the Farmer's Market I bought some chicken bits for tonight's dish and a mess of vegetables and some elk stew meat for another in a few days. Yes, I know elk isn't geographically appropriate for Moroccan food, but the cuisine seems to be full of all sorts of other New World Imports (potatoes, tomatoes), so, why not elk?

The tangine is almost two small for the two chicken legs I got. The place I get chickens makes remarkably large birds.

Naked outdoor sleeping isn't in the cards here tonight. A bit of a blizzard started this afternoon and the tem`perature is expected to drop toward -30 tonight and over the next few days. Perhaps winter has finally arrived. It's been inconceivably warm over the last few weeks.

I'm that fed up with everything..I'd do the Edmonton outdoor naked sleeping for the half a second I could cope with it..

I'm going to do another parachute jump this summer...

It could be an opportunity to thrash things out and talk real. kea runs away.

It's quiet now...she could easily talk about stuff.

We could come up with some ideas like people do in real life....jamming.

This is what I do with mates. We jamm off each other...why the hell doesn't that basic thing happen here? It's brilliant and so basic and fun....Christ I want to be re-born a KURD.
