Messing apart.
I get a strong feeling that some people really hate me here.
Maybe they do.
But there are a few here of all sorts that I really love. Maybe I really love some who really hate me? I don't care I'm staying *real*.
But I'm going to be try to be more northern coolish Scandanavian...a bit Sarah Lund and discreet about it...(some hope )...

I think there are some very bitter people here. And some of them are very quick to lash out.
~jwf~ mentioned something the other night about the current social situation in Britain and Europe and how it may be quite severely colouring the tone on hootoo. I think he may be quite right.
Given the current social situation in the U.S., there's bound to be some volatility coming from that direction as well.

I just woke with a start after hearing about the death of Chris Hitchens and posted on the Dawkin's thread without thinking.
They have let it stand..I pleased to suddenly realise (Thank you h2g2).
I have the radio on low as a comfort thing..but it penetrated my dreams
I always really liked him the most of those people. I feel very sad.

Yeah there is constant bad news on the radio to do with our relationship with Europe..and in general really...it does affect. It makes you feel isolated internationally. I don't like it.
It is very weird.
But underneath it all I'm a loving person..I know that. That's a fundamental for me. I just get angry and people so often read me wrong. Also I get called manipulative and all sorts.
It's because I haven't grown up properly. I'm still adolescent.
God I'm so upset about Hitchens dying. He was a bit like me I always thought..a bit.

I'm feeling a little like I did when our Jack Layton died. Deep down we all knew it was coming, but we still somehow believed the crusty fighter would pull through to whack at the darkness with his cane til it bled daylight.

Just watched again the interview he did with Jeremy Paxman that touched me so deeply
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f1k3VOiD4Hs
The emotion that he controls so well and channels into his work is exploading out of his voice to me...but not, if you know what I mean?
I know what I mean because he is such a deeply emotional caring person....we types can tell these things.
It will take super human control to channel it in normal circumstances...but when you are dying, oh so much more.
I'm very very upset. It'll be nice if there are a lot of good things said about him on h2g2...because he always understood the 'spiritual'...and was the only one of those men to talk about the very hard and unpleasant thing of trying to face rationality full in the face...for many of us.
'Good-night, sweet prince; And flights of angels sing thee to thy rest. '
