A weird thing with my nose..

literally actually.
My nose was blocked at the fag end of a heavy cold. I just gave it a huge blow...and it seemed like my brains came out
Now I have huge pain in the upper part of my left hand nostril.
It could be a sinus thing I suppose.
The only thing that helps is pressing my thumb hard against the left side of my nose.
I do hope it wasn't a bit of brain

I cannot believe that tonight I now have to deal with water in my right ear, after last night.
I think I preferred that. At least I could get relief by pressing the nostril.
There is no relief from this total deafness in one ear.
(I had a bath earlier and got a bit vigorous in it I've done that before but this didn't happen.
It's the worst ear thing since I visited Australia and I jumped off this incredibly high place into a deep pool..I actually did damage due to pressure changes of going deep into the water. It's the same ear this time, but obviously many years later. And pressure changes from splashing around in a bath aren't going to be a factor.

I've tried so many different things.
Warmish water. Olive oil. Hot water bottle.
It's 4am and I'm still completely deaf in one ear. People here think I'm a joke I know.
But it's scary. I never had this happen before for this long as so total.
Logically I think well they can syringe it..it's just the Eustachian tube blocked...probably is.
But I am scared because I did something to the ear years ago in Australia.
At least I can post here about my anxieties..

This may sound silly, but have you tried chewing gum? Yawning?
I had an ear infection at high altitude a number of years ago and the eardrum `po`p`ped. It healed, but the hearing in that ear has never been the same.
Are you feeling `pain, or is it that your hearing feels like it's buried in cotton?
I sus`pect your nose thing and your ear thing may be related. Have you tried taking decongestants?

No pain. Buried in cotton ie total deafness. My fear is that the water has somehow got into the inner ear.
I slept on that side.
I am very genuinely scared.
But it'll be another thing for people here to make fun about to do with me.
I stupidly made light of it at first.
