h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I'm going to organise a competition..for the best name for a competition.

I was thinking of HoMo...but I prefer Dodo Dodo I think. Dead as.

Anyway I'm getting a jump start on NaJoPoMo and starting this JoNo

NaNaMoMo.

As in National "NaBlaBlaMo" Month, where "NaBlaBlaMo" is whatever your can do in the same spirit as NaNoWriMo (NaBloPoMo, NaJoPoMo, etc.).

NaNaMoMo means: during one month, you have to do as many NaBlaBlaMo stuff as possible. Such as: write a 50,000 words novel, write one blog posting a day (and a journal entry a day), shoot a short movie (for NaShoMoMo), compose a symphony (for NaSyCoMo), bake a cake every day (NaCaBaMo), ...

I hope this makes sense

Well I can't have any fun here on general threads being excluded.

I do really appreciate you taking trouble to explain though. I wish to god you'd turned up on the Occupy thread before I completely humiliated myself and everyone there had a good laugh...in their own ways.

Actually I'd like to close this now.

Someone will soon be along to accuse me of poor meeing, or even just me me meing. Even though it's my journal.

But I shan't ever forget my experience on that thread..and the way I thought others were disrespecting the OP. I was trying to do the decent thing. But no-one could be bothered to explain anything to me.

But it was all down to my ignorance..because I barely listen to news now. And to be honest local community concerns are far more important to me now.

People all over the planet on h2g2 don't have a clue about those..or even the kind of sub culture here.

They have grandiose theories that fit the world though apparently.

I'm now very aware though that I'm not keeping up with World News..so I won't make that mistake again.
