And so the big adventure begins in a few days. Not sure what to really think.

Mind you just having been told by one male researcher to off for expressing an opinion hardly fills me with confidence about people's attitudes for the future. Another man had said almost the same thing earlier..and not a dicky bird in response.

Earlier I had some sniping to do with bipolar from another male researcher.

But everytime this stuff happens now i make a copy and collect it as evidence of of what I get here..and how horrible it feels and debilitating.

It's been going on for so long because I'm not a quiet little woman. And nothing gets done about this culture..

We'll see if it does in noohootoo.

Sorry this post isn't more unrelentingly optimistic..but just being told to off for merely expressing an opinion, doesn't help.

They probably want to bully all the women away into trivia. What's new?

Presumably whoever spoke to you like that wasn't a gentleman, by the sound of it. It's kind of an old fashioned concept, but I think we could do with men behaving more like gentlemen these days.

The problem with men behaving like Gentlemen is that they then expect women to behave like Ladies. And that usually means some sort of sexist bullshit. Nah. We can do without gentlemen. What we need is some basic human decency.

I agree Trig..and hopefully that will be properly enforced..but hopefully people will have a good attitude to the new site to prevent too much of that.

I'm going to try to be more aware of my behaviour.

I might not always get it right..but having the attitude is important I think.
