I realised I became the witch figure of h2g2. Of course in modern parlance 'witch' is used in a very vicious and disparaging way..but then a lot of words to do with women are.
But the good thing about a witch is that they are decidedly not victims, which I am not. Indeed nothing would give me greater pleasure than to fight back to my satisfaction..but house rules have to be considered. So its a bit of journal writing.
i am permanently harassed by a certain male here which I find debilitating and have to live with the continual upset of a brilliant relationship here being utterly nuked from space. And generally i don't fit in...artists often don't. You have to make yourself vulnerable to be creative..and in a certain unpleasant culture that will be difficult.
I am very happy with nature, plants, animals etc. fully at ease. But I have mental health problems that refuse to go away so can't function in the real world.
So hey why not be h2g2's witch. Its a positive thing..all ancient communities had them. strange eccentrics that lived alone and apart but happy to do their thing.
For now I'll only post in journals here and my thread with jwf to do with Triumph motor cars..specifically the GT6 which I've decided to get. Not sure on mark or colour yet. Either Mark I or II look prettiest..and it'll be a dark colour of some sort..defo not another red car, I'm bored with red.
Hopefully the harasser won't come here. Oh he'll read; but to post. If he does I'll immediately yikes.

It's a shame my cat died last year..and she was even black...and so intelligent...but until she got really old a fantastic hunter, but so purry as well.
No cat now apart from a visitor cat.

I feel I should let you know that . . .
I am everything absolutely opposite to a cat person.
I'm not a dog person, either, although most dogs seem to mistake me for one.
That having been said, I find absolutely nothing funny about 'lol cats', etc.

I knew you weren't a cat person I remeber you being so angry last year about them catching sparrows and they are basically wild animals..which thank god you understand.
I totally respect that.
But that sht is sht. I only watched one video and it had a cat held down by a vet and something put on its neck so it laid down all passive. it made me puke when I think about their essential freedom of nature...but that's to do with Nature.
So lovely you posted.
I feel much safer on h2g2 like this for now.

I didn't get past the first few seconds of the thing the vet was doing to the cat in the video.
And I agree with your assessment.
But it was so exciting to see that frog jump into my pond last evening. It was hiding under all the long grass around the pond..I was quite scared for a moment it was such a shock I'm not used to thinking of that pond as something properly of nature..but that's changed.
I also did the final cut and rake of the wildflower meadow area.

I've been bringing in pots of herbs and cutting some for drying.
Mysteriously, my pot of sage is missing.
Who would steal a pot of sage?
The Parsley, Rosemary and Thyme were untouched.

That's a bit upsetting and strange.
None of my Scotch bonnet chilli peppers have produced anything. We've had a fairly cool and wettish summer.
(Just to return to that dreary topic for a moment. That's why I assumed it was a wind-up..I couldn't believe an intelligent person would seriously like that stuff..it seemed incredible to me...and once I'd said about my upset about the death of my cat last year and how that thing made me feel.I assumed the topic would be dropped. But its past now.)
Off to cook some sweet corn for tea.

I genuinely don't get it..but then stuff I'm into, people don't get. But I feel I'm living in time out of mind.
I find with other creative people I get on with in real life though..that they know exactly that. I think creativity is the key. To me that stuff is about as drearily uncreative as you could imagine.
Its safe in a totally bland way.
People think bland/unbland is all about superficials. it goes to the heart of things.

'stuff I'm into, people don't get'
remember when I spent six months translating a Medieval Latin Inquisitors' Handbook -- for fun?!

I'll be on another journal later.
This House arrest situation I put myself in is quite nice..a lot bloody safer..but obviously frustrating..but hell that's always good for creativity.
And also its a kind of insistence of my perspective... And quite creative as an idea in itself.

It might even last years. And I'll be churning out journals like some Jane Austen character.
Hooray for Writing.
