h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Man that was good just spent a couple of hours with my friend..talking about everything..especially all the intense reaction to what has happened in Peckham with the riots.

She has also been very disturbed by them..and even though she's politically active..finds the situation to be confused as to reasons. But like me she feels the depression of our increasingly nihilistic society.

It was a relief to share that with such an intelligent person..and also one so warm and friendly..and we had such a good laugh as well.

I need to write stuff here though to help my state of mind.

We decided the only thing to turn to for solace is Nature. She knows about my English wildflower meadow project in my garden, the pond..which foxes now come regularly to drink from..and now the English hedgerow project I started in February.

She told me about a local artists submission project and suggested I could submit something to do with that for it because it is also like art for me.

If I can get my head together I shall.
