I am officially stumped.
About a year ago, I started work on my own role play game. (DON'T LAUGH)
The game was made from scratch, I had only a few experiences with RP type games but I knew basically what I needed to do.
The first version of it went well for what I wanted it to do. It consisted of a card based combat system with the addition of some magic.
But I had no weapon tables, and only two spells. (One to heal, one to hurt)
The rest is kind of confusing, so I'll spare whoever's reading this the details.
I decided a couple months ago that I was unhappy with the game. It was basically just a bunch of characters fighting.
So I overhauled the combat system and converted it to die based.
I started character statistics sheets and weapon/armor charts and things like that. My most recent version seems to be going very well but I just can't get motivated.
I have so many ideas for things I can do with this, but I just can't get the motivation to work on it. I'm also afraid that because I don't have much knoledge about RP games and how they're set up, I'll do something that will ruin the game. (Like making a rule that I can't take out without spoiling it, and can't leave in without it interfering with other rules)
If there are any RP gamers out there reading this, drop me a line and help me out ok?
