It's obviously in the wrong place or at the wrong time, as your birthday is the seventeenth. That's what the Guide says, so that's when it is. If you used to have birthdays earlier in the month, I am afraid you will have to either inform your family and friends that they now must celebrate you on the 17th September. Or if that is too hard, you might pop by http://www.h2g2.com/A293195 . I hope that works.
