Aha, charities and the student elections surely approach...
Quite genuine, I suspect, and I only regret missing the trial run in February with golden retrievers and labradors.
I keep a stuffed cat in the cubbyhole - called Simpson, by the way - and I have had students sitting petting it, so the instinct is definitely there.
