I will be blogging elsewhere this summer, but hope to keep up with hootoo as well.
I'm taking part in a project which was run in Cambridge University & College libraries last year called '23 Things' - a programme over the long vac encouraging librarians to learn new things to do with digital media. This year's bunch of graduate library trainees were sorry to have missed it, so have launched Cam 23 2.0 (see http://cam23things.blogspot.com/), and I've decided to give it a go - at least until all hell breaks loose in the Admissions Office when the A-level results come out!
We have appointed a new Schools Liaison Officer, as the current postholder is moving on to pastures new at the end of July, and we were delighted to hear yesterday that the new SLO has just achieved a First in Philosophy. Well done A! She'll be graduating on 2 July and starting her new job with us in August.
