Spring sunshine

We had a lovely sunny spring day on Saturday, for our Year 12 Science Day, which was a nice change (it often rains, and then they all moan about having to walk into town!). Since then it's been a bit changeable, but there were some sunny spells yesterday afternoon. We were at a pub near Magdalene Bridge (the Pickerel) for M's birthday, and C and I went for a little walk down the alleyway at the side into St John's gardens, where we saw a sparrowhawk having its Sunday lunch (pigeon, it looked like).
Today has been mostly cloudy, and that is also the forecast for the next few days in Prague. I am off there tomorrow for 4 nights, as a birthday treat.
