Where did that expression come from? I seem to be seeing/hearing it everywhere these days.
Anyway, leaving shortly to visit a friend and stay over. He and I have milestone birthdays on the same day in March (not the same year) and are planning to go away for a long weekend, as we're too lazy to organise a party.
Going to the theatre tonight to see a "biting American comedy" at the Almeida. And having brunch in Soho tomorrow with other friends - cocktails and full English breakfast - bring it on!
Douglas: anent Black Swan - a very silly film, IMHO. I'm deeply disappointed in Claudia Winkleman, who loved it.

Had a lovely time in London. Booked a 4-night trip to Prague in March with G, went to a very funny play (Becky Shaw) at the Almeida, and had breakfast in Soho with friends.
Took the day off work today, and as well as doing various chores, have been to the gym, taken bike to be repaired and been to the library. Drinks at the pub with work colleagues this evening.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
