Arrived about 4pm local time yesterday (11pm UK time) and felt fine - went to bed soon after 9 and slept OK until 7.30, only woke up a couple of times, once due to a fairly spectacular lightning show outside my window. Today started off chilly and grey, and stayed pretty much the same until this afternoon. We'd just collected S's little girl from her 'day camp' (=summer play scheme) and were driving home, when massive hailstones came crashing down, accompanied by more thunder and lightning! Apparently a couple of days ago, there were hailstones the size of plums!
Anyway, we did indoor activities today - browsing a few shops, lunch out, farmers' market - but we're hoping for better weather and a walk tomorrow.
