h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I am feeling mostly grumpy at the moment. Not sure why this is - well, it's a combination of things I expect.

Acting Boss continues to be annoyingly forgetful.

My bathroom is STILL not finished. I have come to the conclusion they just don't work on Mondays - nothing ever seems to have been done on when I get home on a Monday. The only things that still need doing are the new mirror and painting the door frame, although they managed to scratch the new paint on the walls in a couple of places when they were moving the bath panel around, so I hope they will do something about that too. The work started on 4th April.

My fun Scottish dancing class finished last term, and the one we transferred to this term is not nearly such fun, with the result that I haven't been going to it. I miss it, but when I think about going along on Wednesday nights it's a case of feeling that I *ought* to go, rather than looking forward to it. There will be some garden dancing later this term, so I might go along to that.

It's book group tomorrow, and about half the group can't make it.

I'm supposed to be coordinating a ML meet in Cambridge. Not feeling at all enthusiastic about it and the suggested venue is turning out not to be suitable, so we'll probably have to think of somewhere else, and town will be heaving on a Saturday ...
