h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Had the day off yesterday - very pleasant, apart from the heavy showers in the middle of the day. Made the best of it by going to the cinema - it always feels really decadent to come out of the cinema and find it's still light. Saw 'Juno', which I had missed first time round. Very enjoyable and not too demanding for a rest day.

Also had my hair cut. Acting Boss had infuriated me by commenting on the length of my fringe last week, but unfortunately I'm not good at thinking of put-downs on the spot. Anyway, now it looks better.

Went to a new Scottish dancing class. Our previous teacher is not running a class this term, so some of us went to try out the RSCDS 'advanced' class. We got through it without falling over or otherwise disgracing ourselves, so will probably stick with it, but it's half an hour longer than the old class, and I was absolutely exhausted by the end. When I went to bed my feet were still hurting! Hope it will get better.

Bathroom is progressing. New bath, loo and washbasin now installed. Still some plumbing problems though - I am phoning the project manager on a daily basis at the moment to report snags.
