Cold, miserable weather

Didn't actually notice it snowing this afternoon, although I did see a hailstorm at one point. Checked the ducks on the pond outside my window, to see how they were taking it - they appeared completely unconcerned, and were pecking away at the grass, as if nothing was happening. When I got home there was snow lying on the rooftops and gardens, so it must have snowed more here than across the other side of Cambridge.
Bumped into YOB Von Trapp this afternoon - will report the sighting in ML.
The switch on the heater in my bedroom has packed up - great timing!

Typical
Have a nice hot to warm you up.
We've had snow on and off all day - but it hasn't settled.
Glad I don't live on the North Norfolk coast (which is the opposite of what I usually wish!)

Hallo you two! We have had sleet, bright cold sunshine, hail, sunshine, starry skies, snow, starry skies; repeat every three hours for 2 days. The short version being that I've swept snow off the car last two mornings. But we are officially on high ground. My camellia which had lovely fat buds is looking decidedly sorry for itself.
Nice to see YOB - I'm surprised he doesn't send comps for his productions.

Our camelia has astonished us. It has resulutely kept its cheerful flame red flowers through gales, frosts, snow, hail and driving rain, whilst standing in a pot on our new patio.
We've never had one before - amazing plant!

We have a beautiful magnolia in the College and so far it's survived the bad weather very well - luckily it's in a sheltered courtyard, the herb garden.
