... are the busiest time of all for me at work. Although the two weeks following that come a pretty close second!
Anyway, my sister phoned yesterday to say that my niece is going to be working in Cambridge for the next three weeks, and could she come and stay with me (niece had left a message on my home answering machine but didn't have my work number). Of course I said yes - and it will be nice to have her around, although I've warned her that I may be a bit stressed out at times.
Niece (let's call her M) works as a locum vet nurse, on short-term contracts all over the country. She has just been dumped by her boyfriend, by text message, so I expect we'll have to have a few girlie moaning sessions over the and !

Such class! At least it'll have left her in no doubt about whether he is worth moping over - well hopefully, real life isn't always so cut and dried but in the future she'll wonder what she ever saw in someone capable of that.
It sounds like a good excuse to get in the wine and the soppy films, and industrial quantities of tissues I expect.
Good luck, at least it'll take your mind off work....

Yes, that's what I'm expecting - at least it'll be light relief from planning interview timetables!

Well Annie, she's lucky in having an aunt like you. Plenty more fish in the sea would be my cynical response, but after the floods stage has passed, otherwise a bit unfeeling.
