Lynwen is trying to get me to inhabit the same immediate universe as she and everyone else inhabits. Can't do it; too set in my ways. Bad luck.

I am suffering H withdrawal. It isn't very nice.

This life is the pits really. I gave it to God, and he took it; I've got nothing left.

As long as my eternity is secure I don't give a damn about this life.

This is the attitude of the early church, of course; people were queuing up to martyr themselves, back then. Modern Evangelicalism is faintly obscene with its obsessions about temporal blessings, the family, having a good time, etc etc. God took my life, did what he wanted with it, leaving me with a tiny slice, just enough to get through the day. Lynwen is going to have to adapt her expectations big time, or find someone else.

I mean, read the fecking Gospels! Jesus is, if anything, ANTI family. I haven't come to bring peace, he says; I've come to set a mother in law AGAINST her daughter in law, etc etc. READ THE GOSPELS! This "Focus on the Family" is apostatic goyishe bellshot. Sorry, but it is. Paul said, Are you unmarried? Seek ye not a wife. His concessions to those who wanted the comforts of family etc were pretty . I can't think of the word I'm looking for.

"What I mean, brothers, is that the time is short. From now on those who have wives should live as if they had none; those who mourn, as if they did not; those who are happy, as if they were not; those who buy something, as if it were not theirs to keep; those who use the things of this world, as if they were not engrossed in them. For the world in its present form is passing away."

1 Corinthians 7:29-31

This short passage of Scripture is IGNORED by modern Evangelicalism, that obscene apostasy which masquerades as the faith once handed down to the saints. You should all be thoroughly ashamed of yourselves. Paul would be disgusted with you: and I say this with the authority of an apostle myself, chosen and sent. I am certainly disgusted with you. Helga, sober up. Yes, I have taught you a lesson. Learn it well.

Don't use the word "journey" as a verb, Lynwen, it's obscene. Say "walk".
