h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Well it's 5pm here in South Africa and I've been up all night with the television on.

I feel dreadful. Need to attach a hosepipe to my ear and flush out my head at high pressure. I've got to go to Pick 'n' Pay just now. I must force myself.

I decided I couldn't cope any more with the idea of going out so I ordered, for the nth day in succession, takeaway from Mr D. Lo tov heyot levado ha'adam. Or something. Eifo ezri?

Oh I am tired. More so than usual after a night up. Andrew is coming directly; after he has gegonnen, I am going to go for a wee kip. Of course it would be nice if Miss Roman were to come and kip with; but that isn't happening.

the lack of Miss Roman was sorely felt today. I have felt down in the dumps all day today and I just went out to the 7-11 to get stuff. Anyway yeah. Bought some Pringles but they aren't very nice. Feeling a bit desolate actually. It's the alcohol I had last night. I think I must be allergic or something because I always get a very severe reaction to it. I had better jack it in. I don't like feeling sad.

Although, on the plus side, the terrible anger I've had these past times has gone, or at least, turned into sadness instead; and I'd rather be tranquil and sad, that bloody furious all the time and shouting the odds at invisible people in my flat.

Beginning to feel a bit less sad. At least, my sadness is turning into wistfulness. Which is one of my habitual modes d'etre. Which also leads us back to Miss Roman...

Went to bed, couldn't sleep, up again.

I find myself suddenly and more or less unaccountably obsessed with thinking about Lynwen. I can't help it. This afternoon it came as a prayer burden that I had to pray through in tongues. And I'm kind of you know, all hot and bothered too, which is discombobulating, as I thought I'd completely lost my sex drive. It's weird.

But she's giving me the exact same treatment as Caroline gave me, and we all know how that turned out. So it's terribly upsetting as well as exciting. Horrendous really. It's the curse I'm under you see. I am helpless.
