h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Went to the dentist. He extracted 2 teeth, well, 1 tooth and 1 set of roots where the tooth had long ago crumbled awa', awa'.

Now I'm cream crackered. Nearly fell asleep at the wheel on the way back home along the N1. 1hr 20 minutes' drive from here to Stellenbosch, and from Stellenbosch to here. I left here at about 11.30 and got to Stellenbosch with 10 minutes to spare (appointment at 1pm). Out of dentist at 1.45pm. My mouth is really numb; he really went to town with the novocaine, as a result of which I felt nothing during the prodecures.

Lovely dental nurse half put me to sleep with her delicious vibes. Yum.

Wrote a message to Lynwen which she will probably ignore.

Novocaine worn off. Now my teeth and face ache. Feel like I've been punched all over my jaw. Novocaine lasts about 3 hours. Saturday and Sunday I've got to swill with salt water. No infections please Lord. But I'm tired! Wow. Doctor Who on Sunday. I've put a letter asking the BC to look into DSTV for me. If there's no response after a fortnight I'll write again and email Vic. Can't do anything now, it's Easter.

Thank God I was able to go to my dentist and didn't have to go to one I didn't know. There's a funny guy on KARN now. I'll try to get his name. Chris Plant apparently. Yeah he's a funny guy. Last time I went to the dentist was 2007. There was a lovely girl at the desk. She doubled up as dental nurse. Oh, but she was lovely. She vibed me into a state of semi-slumber while I was sat in the chair. Mmm, yum.

Not as lovely as Lynwen though. I told Michael I wanted Lynwen and he was most off-putting. You can't get the one you want, apparently. Oh shut up Michael.

Having got CCFM out of my mind I'm not going back there. I've known the Father, his Son and their Spirit all my life. So back off, boys and girls. While you've still got a relationship with God, you're not relating how you should. Do you understand this?

I think most of them fall at that hurdle.

God is just part of the texture of my awareness, always has been. I don't "have a relationship" with God. He's just there, with me, all the time. It's meandGod.or Godandme. Meandyou, youandme.

That's why I've always been so insecure about it all. No need.

Michael was talking down to me today. Why they all talk down to me? Because I appear like a child in their eyes. That's why. Well it's annoying. I want someone on my own level to talk to. Don't worry, says the Lord, it's all right. Yeah. Love ya.

I'm beyond tired. Just relaxing listening to the Rush Limbaugh show with this Englishman standing in. He's intelligent and kindly with the callers. The Lord is with me. My head is sore, though. My jaw feels beaten up and my teeth ache and my eyes are sore and my head feels rough and raw. Tomorrow starting at 2pm I must rinse my mouth with lukewarm salt water. I must go to church on Sunday, although it will be packed because of Easter. Oh dear. I wish I had someone to go with.

Thinking of the Den and its renovation. New windows and waterproofing. Wallpaper. Curtains. Those are the main things. Oh and the door, to open the other way, into my bedroom. Gosh, I need to relax. At least I'll be warm and snug this winter, well for part of it. I need to relax and be quiet and still.

Nearly finished the Gloria last night.

Why do people ALWAYS try to discourage me whenever I bring up the subject of finding a wife? Apparenly I'm not allowed a pretty wife now. Stick it, Michael. Keep your bs to yourself.

Oh, the Gloria isn't very good. Never mind. Slept a lot. But I've got a half way way of realising what there is in the garage (a /at /e /d /c# /d# etc) Night night.
