Right, I have moved everything I can out of my den and all that's left is the chaise longue. Before I put everything back later on, I'm going to have a good clean and hoover. At least of that end of the room.

Not sure where to put the speaker, as if I disconnect it I'll have to switch off the amp first, and I don't want to have to do that.

This is a groovy room and it will be even groovier once the new window's in, that means it'll never get wet in here again. Thank you Father.

Religion hey. I don't want someone screaming at me on a Sunday that I'm not grateful enough to my God.

Anyway I've just listened to the whole Sonatina as so far done; I'm not sure whether it's OK or what it is. It's funny, it's a attempt but there's nothing going on in it, no development, nothing happens, it's just ongoing music. How it is possible to develop in 12 notes is obviously something I've got to learn how to do. Well we'll see; I've certainly put lots of effort into it.

I'm at the Coda now, more or less, or at least some form of recapitulation. And it's in C major lol. But it is a recap of sorts, it's a reminder of the little motif, I don't know how I got it, it's tonal; but anyway, pheuf, as the French, on these occasions, are likely to expostulate. It is there for a reason. Now I've just got to find out how it ends. Some material from earlier movements perhaps? No I don't think so. I can't think at the moment; I'm too concerned with the window people and so on.

Oh well. Another day. Praise God.

And the window people aren't coming today. She says tomorrow.

Got the idea for the Coda. It's in C major! Excellent! the strings are triple stopping and the piano is going wild, out of control, C major with more than a touch of 12-tone craziness. Texture from the tutti at the opening of the movement.

Unplugged the amp. It's cooling off now. I'll replace the valve and if that works I'll be happy; otherwise I can haul it out and have a look at it. Larry has given me a few tips on what to look for.

Don't like the amp being off. I leave it on all the time, to ensure maximum lifeline for the valvulations.

I swapped out the faulty valve in my amp and now it's working perfectly. The possibility exists that there might still be some loose connection, but first impressions are that my amplifier is now as good as new.

Was trying to watch Deep Impact but it's all mind control garbiage. Can't watch it. Too yucky. Crappy movie but Guy's mother of blessed memory, Havatseleth, told me that I was having a "Deep Impact" on the people in Israel, and another guy asked me where I lived, and I answered, Aberdeen, and he said, Father in the Law, and I said, What? And he answered, Av be'din. Oh yeah that's cool. Groovy too, new, blue and something like a little shrew, eating a sack of corn and relishing the burger bigtime howdy dowdy doity peabody necessary snack.

So. That was that. Aberdeen, av be'din, Father in the Law. Whatever that means. Well of course it's obvious isn't it.

Coincidences follow me around like groupies. I was reading a web page the other day, and as I read the words on the page, the man on the radio was talking about that exact same thing. That happens more often than one should necessarily expect, I think. God is certainly very God. And the efforts of those who deny him, to cover themselves up, are strikingly obvious. But of course, not to them. Oh no, they are innocent, because they themselves have deemed it so. Kafka wrote. He was good. Very good writer, old Franz.

Ja well my amplifier is working like new again after I swapped out a valve! Hooray! Very pleased about that.

But I did enjoy my Big Mac this afternoon.

Now that my den is empty and I sit here, I am having all kinds of design ideas for the room. The first thing that needs to happen is the door changed to a double wooden door opening outwards. Then a large low table-space to my left, for the mixer and the computers.

Instead of a desk, I should have a little sofa against that wall. No not a sofa it would take up too much space. But a lot bench with soft. The room will be dry now, we praise God, and the room needs low and soft and pools of coloured light. The desk is a bit OTT in here.

Windows need boarding up and bookshelves, so the floor space is free for soft seatage.

I could have a double curtain over the doorway, no need for a door. Not secure though, and my den needs to be locked upable. I can't help haing lots of ideas for my den. It's pouring out of my eyes and ears and noses and mouths.

I've got Rush Limbaugh on, that famous theologist. I wish I could do stuff with my den. The door needs to have been seen to already, really.
