Attaching a photo to an EDITED story

Hi Lisa
This is a new problem for me.
I wrote a story:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/ww2/A2301634
and it was edited before I had a chance to keep it as an 'ordinary' story.
I now wish to add a picture to it.
How do I go about it?
