h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

That's another exam over with, thank goodness. Not particularly nice, and we all struggled to finish it in time. It took the form of an evolving case study: JC starts off coming into your pharmacy for the morning after pill, then has fertility problems, then has half a dozen kids all with various illnesses. That was supposed to take an hour, and the MCQs half an hour.

I'd be surprised if anyone managed to finish it. I did the MCQs first, and finished in less than 30 minutes, which gave me extra time to do the written questions, but when the invigilator announced that there were only 15 minutes left, there was still a few questions to do. Like everyone else around me, I had to revert to notes instead of proper sentences and just write down whatever I could think of.

After the exam the module leader sent out an email to say it was actually SHORTER than last year!

Well, at least it's over. The next, and last, exam is on Monday. Between now and then are three nearly-solid days of getting equations into my head and practicing the calculations involved in therapeutic drug monitoring.

Wanted to go for the Thursday night curry, but I'm too tired really. Bed is tempting.

If bed is tempting then go for it! Seriously if you think you're unwound enough to sleep then grab the chance and recharge yourself for the final slog.

Not long to go... any plans for Monday night? Or will you just flop?

Monday night is booked to go out with my uncle and aunt for a curry and a catch up, as we haven't seen each other for a while.

Have to clear a load of stuff off the bed before getting into it: there isn't room to just dump stuff on the floor, and storage space is lacking, so stuff moves from desk to bed in teh morning, and back to the desk at night.

Ah, when it's too much effort to go to bed.. dose of that here at the moment, but I really must before I fall asleep (or even worse end up wide awake again). Need to be up early for work.

Here's as much stress-fuelled, exam-induced adrenalin as I can spare Bex. When you're upa gainst it, it will come in useful...
