G'day Bub,
stuck here in the chills of the midwest I long for the days when I was in Malaysia enjoying the sights and sounds, my first exploration from the land down under.
I recommend the market over the river from the post office, it's big and breezy, with a roof but very open like, like Melbourne's but a bigger roof. Next to it away from the river and opposite a subway/train centre is a really cool place lots of 20 buck CD, DVD's and games going for less than a 1/10th of that. How can they get so cheap???
Sorry, the food I got was all courtesy of Malaysian airlines
and it's hotels, can't help there.
