Um, I was just thinking that each person could have _one_ custom smiley that would be uploaded to the server, and only they knew the code for it. for example, it could be of something like that, but the html code would show up as with X being their name. Alternatively, they could put in and get their own smiley. What do you think?

This is a nice idea, but first we need to enable people to load their own pictures up to our servers. Once that's done, this is a logical thing to add.
In fact it's already in the to-do list, as it's been suggested before, but I can't say when it'll be possible. Hopefully soon!
