It seems to be fairly well covered by unless you were thinking in terms of your nickname - all grin and no face/body.

Unless you've gone and changed your name on me (which has been known to happen!) I must have got confused with the thread title. Sorry.

No problem. I've been fluxboxer since I signed up but I may have taken advantage of the mistake merely for the excuse to use a flustered smiley! I've not seen so many smiley icons in my life!

So what does a fluxboxer look like? I reckon it is either a type of dog, a fighter, a solderer or something sci-fi where one should not reverse the polarity.
There are smileys which don't exist:
= _@o"
= (©v©)
= <:3~~
... and lots of other people have their own (I can't remember the crocodile).

Aaah yes, ASCII Art. I used to use it in my Usenet sig until anything above four lines got frowned upon. I'm not sure what a Fluxboxer looks like. The nickname is derived from the Open Source Window Manager, Fluxbox (http://fluxbox.sf.net) although to me, the word does conjure up images of an exotic, multi-coloured, loyal, four-legged creature - not belonging to any animal family known to humankind.
Apologies for going a bit crackers.
