How long have I had this T'internet connection now? 4-5 months? It's absolute rubbish...

Sapo (meaning 'frog') supply it. I think they are something to do with Portugal Telecom, so you'd think it would be reliable. It costs a bomb - apparently Portugal is the most expensive country in Europe for T'internet access and although they've just dropped the price by 10% and given us more bandwidth, it's still unreliable.

It's dropped out again for about the seventh or eighth time today. Each time you have to wait for it to re-synch the line and then redial, which it attempts about 15 times before finally getting a connection. I suppose it only takes a couple of minutes, but it's bloody annoying.

I'm really tempted to ring them up and have a whinge. But I won't, 'cos they are Portuguese and scary...

I might have a stable connection but it does little good when either BTs servers or The Beebs servers are chock-a-bloc and ev'rything slows to a snails pace
