You know, I've always wondered why it was placed where it was - not to the extent that I got off my backside and found out - but now I know, and can now confidently state that one part of life starts to make a little more sense, somehow.

Oh, I really miss dialling by the way. One other great thing about those phones is if you were 'pissed off' at someone for some reason (e.g telesales) on the phone, you could physically let them know by slamming down the handset - somehow simply pushing a button doesn't satisfy in the same manner.
