My American present for my eldest son has gone down well. It was a set of "glow in the dark" solar system mobiles, i.e. all of the planets. We spent an hour or two on Saturday putting them together and affixing them to the ceiling, concentrically and in correct order from the lightbulb in the centre of the room. I also received a large amount of luminous star stickers to attach to the ceiling also. Rather than attach them randomly, I have mapped out some of the major constellations in the sky. He is thrilled to bits (and I am too - shhhh) smiley - smiley.

smiley - biggrin That was the first constellation I worked on, nebula and all! It has pride of place from his bedroom pillow. We're not finished yet - I have a ton of small star stickers - I might try work on a sort of "Milky Way" effect across his room...
