Hello Ron,

How are you? I hope everything is well with you and the family.

I've been in Bahrain for almost a month - and so far so good. I've started an online journal on h2g2 about my time here. It's been a very interesting experience. So if you want to read more....

We've just moved into a new apartment. It's in a different area, but it's really nice. It's still quite hot but thankfully the humidity has dropped. I might go for a wander tomorrow - see what goes on around here. Most of the year it would be far too hot to walk anywhere - so I've probably arrived at a good time.

We're both fine at home thank you, and the 2 boys and their wives appear to be enjoying life! Grandchildren are the usual handful at 3 and 1 1/2, but what child isn't at those ages!?
I have read only a part of your journal up to now, but I'll be back!
You seem to be enjoying your new social life in Bahrain. Hope you like your new apartment. You'll soon become acclimatised no doubt and begin to take the heat as a norm.
Your account of the 'break fast' with your new lady neighbours and their husbands is very interesting.
