As a more general statement, it isn't worth relying on A-spaces as a guide to what's going into The Post.

I frequently pull articles, change A-spaces of articles, abandon ideas altogether, hold articles over and convert some A-spaces into archives. Most of the rest of the Post Team don't know what I'm up to most of the time, because I'm generally behind with things and not very well-organised, so the fact that an A-space appears anywhere at any time isn't necessarily a good sign.

The only rule as top whether something has been accepted or not is its appearance on the FP on Thursday morning. Beyond that, you may as well stick a pin in a voodoo doll of the Editor. Many do. In fact, I sometimes do...
