...in a weird, surreal, absolutely twisted short story written by a bunch of raving maniacs? Something like "Twin Peaks", only much more unpredictable and strange?

Because that's what we've been creating recently on the "cancel" thread (where else? ) and we thought you might like it... take a look at A2406304 and tell me what you think of it.

Sure, we'll serialise it over the next few weeks. We won't be able to get any artwork for it, unfortunately, so maybe you would like to drop by the gallery and see if you can find an appropriate blob to use?

Yea! We are continueing the storey at the moment BTW, so there might be more yet to come!... Wat, no 'hoover' artwork? Sorry, btw I couldn't get any report from teh last London meet; I think everyone was too drunk to write anything for the Post

So, if we could swing artwork what would like? An enormous black hoover in front of a nightsky with an evil grin or something? (I am not promising anything btw!)

Blimey... What would the artwork be indeed... Hmm, a sort of old fasioned type upright hoover, in front of a 'night' background... a 'evil' grin hmm, I see a more sort of 'bermused', or 'whimsicle', or 'nondescript' expression I'll have to consult the others see what they think (not much at the last count )

Oh yes... it would have to be an old-fashioned upright - or maybe one of those round ones with a sucker attachment as a mouth, then you could have it hoovering up the words h2g2!

Lost and confused does seem to fit the bill!

Get back to me asap with ideas! We can put the debut on hold.

Sounds good, though CZ suggested just a sillouette, which I think could be pretty cool.

Hmmm - I was thinking more of the hoover actually *being* the personification of nighthoover.

Well, obviously the two main ingredients for the nighthoover artwork should be the night and the hoover... myself, I don't care much about the rest.

We're getting a Nighthoover blob!

Today a blob, tomorrow a smiley!!!! Oh, yeh, one thing we talked about, didn't we, was having the 'hoover, with the 'hand of nighthoover' on it, in a kind of doorway, with 'night' outside, but from teh pic you wouldn't know if the hoover was going 'out' through the door, or 'in' But I don't know how complicated you can get these things.... But theres a few ideas here for the Artist

By the way Shazz, something I forgot about since the Night of the Hoover series appeared... do you know there's a second installment? We were starting a third too, but that got lost and I don't know what's up with it.

The third one was the most hooverable and wierd and odd and great maybe I think
