No, all you have to do is write something and submit it to the post, there's a big button that says Article submission on the front page of the post, that'll send it straight to the Post Editors, once you have contributed to five issues in a row you can have a nice shiney green Post Reporters Badge. If you want to do some behind the scenes work it's best to ask Shazz or emr direct.
