"The Post Roles of Honour" - that should be "Rolls" in this context...
Dictionary.com says -
Roll:
n.
6 A list of names of persons belonging to a group.

It originates from scrolls, list of members were stored on single scrolls and new members added to the end, hence the Rolls for being a member rather than Roles, being a part someone plays.

You are both, of course, quite correct. I was, however, thinking of the various 'roles' which our reporters take in being part of The Post... a regular starring part, a smaller bit part or a walk on part.
If you feel the need to change it then by all means do Pastey.
