Just stumbled across this and thought a little update might be of interest to anyone with SAD. Firstly, since taking up running my SAD has vastly improved (more or less gone from Winter 2012 onwards), so no more SJW for me. However, Vitamin D deficiency is very common in the UK and supplementing that (with a side order of Vit K and magnesium) could make a big difference with regards SAD.
On the downside, personally, health issues have had a large impact on my running, but I *may* be starting to turn a corner. Good health.
