Coming back to (post-BBC) h2g2 is like rediscovering yourself. And long-lost friends. And like reading your own biography. I've never been any good at keeping journals, despite best intentions. Don't imagine I'm going to start now. But h2g2 could be as close as I ever get.
Inconsequential things occur, alarms are triggered, memories stir
Ah, song lyrics.

It's when someone asks you a question, based on a long forgotten conversation that really freaks a bit - Whilst I've never really left, I did "go dark" for a while (24 reference) so some people think I am a returnee. I got asked a question I had about something I had no idea I had ever even mentioned on h2g2 - how they had rememebered is beyond me!

When posting, I've found old conversations seem to spring out of nowhere. Such as one I read yesterday which you'd posted to over two years after my previous post, asking if I'd finished watching the aforementioned film yet. They do make for some fun reading, these old convos. So you've been a bit of a What's new?
